Senior Digital Marketing Manager (Media Buying/PPC)

GitNation is looking for Senior Digital Marketing Manager with a focus on Targeting.
About us
: GitNation is a major organizer of tech conferences since 2015, the team behind brands like React Summit, JSNation, React Advanced London and others. Apart from events, GitNation builds an in-house event platform and a content hub with media for software engineers as well as subscription to remote events.

The role includes a wide variety of marketing responsibilities to promote and drive ticket sales for our events: targeting and marketing automation software, SEO optimization using different types, tools, and strategies; Cross-promotion, and collaboration with partners.
As we are building up our existing brands, and launching new ones, a part of the responsibilities scope will include brand strategy and execution.

Your tasks will be:

  • Develop and execute advanced targeting strategies across various digital channels, including programmatic, social, and search.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Test and iterate on different targeting approaches to maximize ROI
  • Create detailed audience segments based on demographic, behavioral, and psychographic data.
  • Create and implement marketing automation campaigns aligns with industry best practices
  • Create and test marketing hypothesis in a collaboration with other team members and supervisor
  • Supervise designers in order to produce and spread relevant high-quality content over media channels
  • Drive ticket selling process by reaching out to popular community members and working with various communities and influencers

You are a good fit if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in digital advertising, with a strong focus on targeting and audience segmentation.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Experience working within IT industry and event marketing (preferably international)
  • Basic understanding of Web development and related technologies (JavaScript/React/Node.js)
  • Strong analytical skills: website traffic and conversion rates.
  • Familiarity with the following tools: Photoshop/Sketch, Mailchimp, Buffer, Trello, Google Drive
